Proposal Summary:
This proposal aims to implement Step 2 of RIP00005 by establishing the selection process for the DAO's first 5 proposers. The process will take place in two distinct phases.
Phase 1: Application process and pre-selection (on the governance forum in the "Candidacy" section)
Phase 2: Final proposal (which will be submitted to DAO vote)
Motivation:
Establish a transparent and fair process for selecting the DAO's first proposers, in accordance with the criteria established in RIP00005.
Context:
Following the adoption of RIP00005, the DAO must now proceed with the election of its first 5 proposers. This step is crucial for the progressive decentralization of governance, allowing the DAO to begin managing its own responsibilities autonomously.
Scope of the proposer role:
Governance Forum:
- Assign a "writer" role to idea authors who are clearly supported by the community
- Participate in preparatory work to transform ideas into proposals
- Guide proposal creation and ensure they meet standards
- Ensure compliance with defined and approved processes and rules
- Make useful updates to proposal status (labels)
- When necessary, moderate and revive discussions that may have stalled
- Explain proposal execution data to less experienced members
OnChain:
- Creation of proposals on Tally (requires expertise in activating functions with correct parameters)
- Queueing proposals *
- Executing proposals *
*if not executed automatically by a bot, it may be necessary to do this manually via tally or gnosisscan
The proposer is not responsible for:
- Policing; they are invited to refocus debates on the subject and guide them
- Writing a proposal in place of the idea author
