Official Guidelines for DAO Proposals

Official Guide
Introduction
In our DAO, every member has the opportunity to propose ideas and actively participate in decisions. This guide will help you understand how to submit and develop a suggestion through the different stages of the process until it becomes an active proposal or is moved to the abandoned proposals section.
We use four categories to organize proposals:
Suggestions : Where you submit your initial ideas.
Proposals : Suggestions move here once the community has "validated the idea".
Active Proposals : Proposals ready for an onChain vote.
Closed Proposals : Proposals where the onChain vote is closed.
Cancelled Suggestions : Rejected proposals or those that did not generate enough interest.
In order to promote inclusion within our DAO and to allow everyone to participate fully, everyone is free to express themselves in the language of their choice in the “Suggestions” topics.
An English version will be necessary when moving on to “Active Proposals”.( discussions about this proposal will be in the language of your choice in the topics )
We encourage you to use translation tools to facilitate communication if necessary.
1.
"Suggestions" Category
Submit an idea inSuggestions
This category is open to everyone. You can freely submit your ideas here.
The community can interact with you by posting questions, modification suggestions, or constructive feedback.
Here are some key points to keep in mind when submitting your idea:
- Be clear: Try to explain your idea concisely. A detailed suggestion is more likely to be understood by the community.
- Engage with the community: The more discussion around your idea, the more likely it is to be considered. Be open to feedback and respectful.
Your idea will be evaluated by the community within a minimum of one week and a maximum of 3 weeks!
Support Criteria
Your suggestion will be evaluated based on these metrics:
- Number of views: Does the idea attract attention?
- Number of supports (likes "
"): Is the community voting to support your idea?
- Number of messages and comments: Is the discussion around the idea productive and constructive?
*The specific numbers will be determined based on the participation rate on the forum. It's hard to set a limit for the launch without knowing the participation rate.
Moving to the next step
If your suggestion gains enough community support, you will receive a special role* that will allow you to develop your idea in the "Proposals" category.
*Currently assigned manually, this will be automated in the future.
If a suggestion does not gain enough support or is rejected by the community, it will be moved to theCancelled Suggestions category.
2.
"Proposals" Category
Once your idea has been validated by the community, you will receive a role that allows you to create your proposal!
If you already have this role, you can directly submit complete proposals here.

*The above points should be filled out if applicable. If a point does not apply to your proposal, you can indicate it as "not applicable".
In order to allow time to review the proposal, a minimum delay of 7 days must be observed before the topic can be moved to 'active proposal'.
If the structure is not respected by the author, they will lose their writing privileges in this category, and their proposal will be deleted.
These measures aim to maintain a strict and organized format to allow a clear understanding and measurement of each proposal’s stakes, preventing unnecessary deviations. This is crucial for high-quality governance.
Once the post is created, the community will actively work to strengthen the proposal. Discussions can take place in the language of your choice. The author will be responsible for keeping their post updated over time, incorporating contributions and adjustments. We strongly recommend using translation tools to facilitate communication if necessary.
3.
"Active Proposals" Category
The topic will be moved toActive Proposals (by a moderator) once the community deems the proposal mature and finalized enough to be put to a vote. (The Checklist is a good indicator of a proposal's progress.)
This means consensus has been reached on the final version, but it does not mean everyone supports the proposal—only that the format and information are valid.
OnChain Voting
The proposal will be submitted to an onChain vote by an authorized 0x address, according to the rules defined in the governance contract. Here are the voting parameters:
- Voting platform: Tally
- Final review duration: 1 day
- Voting duration: 7 days
- Post-vote waiting period: 2 days
- Required quorum: 5% of the DAO's total voting power.
Reminder: Voting rules (quorum, duration, etc.) may evolve over time based on the DAO's decisions.
4 .
"Closed Proposals" Category
Once the vote is closed, the proposal will be moved toClosed Proposals.
Conclusion
Your participation is essential to the success of our DAO. By following these steps, you will contribute to a democratic and transparent decision-making process. The process may, of course, be adjusted based on the DAO's needs. This is the strength of a DAO—it evolves with the needs of its members and adapts to the will of the majority.
