Election of the Working Committee on Voting Power
Introduction
Following the validation of proposal RIP00007, we must establish a working committee whose essential mission will be to define the rules and algorithms for PowerVoting snapshot. This committee will play a crucial role in establishing the mechanisms that will determine how voting power will be allocated based on the use of REG tokens (in DApps, locked, etc.).
The objective is to encourage holders to actively participate in the ecosystem while aligning their interests with those of the DAO. For more details on the complete proposal, you can consult the original forum post.
Voting Process
For this first step, we will proceed with a simplified vote. With 9 candidates for 10 available positions, we propose a global approval vote for the candidacies.

Presentation of Candidates
Taodiem
Motivations: "My approach to joining the DAO committee is guided by the deep conviction that decentralized organizations can sustainably transform our economic, social, and political models. I firmly believe in the ability of DAOs to offer fairer, more transparent, and resilient governance systems. As a chronic epistémophile, the constantly evolving blockchain ecosystem is a fountain of youth for those curious to learn. I wish to bring my enthusiasm, pragmatism, team spirit, and empathy to lend a helping hand to the DAO."
Vision: "In my eyes, a DAO sits at the crossroads between two worlds: on one side, the materiality of physical assets, on the other, the dematerialization and fluidity offered by blockchain technology. RealT offers us tokenized assets. But not just that. Or more precisely, not only that anymore. The YAM and RMM blockchain-specific tools are a huge added value to the process. Although being 2 different entities, REALT and the DAO are closely linked and ultimately inseparable. My vision for the RealToken DAO is that of an entity capable of optimizing resource allocation in real-time and uniting a growing community of members around common objectives. It must enable following blockchain evolutions that are so rapid and adapting, maintaining, and creating all the necessary tools for our 'small' RWA ecosystem. The RealToken DAO is the bridge between the old and the new, between tangible assets and dematerialized space, between the solidity of brick and the flexibility of decentralized protocols. In short, I see the DAO as the catalyst of the process. There are plenty of DAOs... DAOs with a real estate RWA tropism... Let's go."
Competencies: "As DYOR was no longer enough for me, I wanted to go further in my learning and enrolled at Alyra to advance my knowledge of the ecosystem. I hold a certification validated by France Compétence 'Blockchain Analyst & Consultant' obtained from Alyra in 2023. My thesis, which specifically focused on DAO governance, allowed me to gain understanding. Methodologically, I also have good experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, Lean), particularly suited to constantly evolving environments such as DAOs. This also allowed me to work in groups and asynchronously with other learners to complete the project on time. Concretely, my skills break down as follows: Blockchain Analysis and Consulting: Technical and strategic evaluation of protocols, understanding of on-chain/off-chain, analysis of economic incentives and token models. Reading chain explorers and transaction traceability. DAO Governance: Knowledge of voting systems, proposal processes, and collaborative tools (forums, snapshots, coordination platforms), as well as best practices promoting transparent and inclusive governance. Agility and Collaborative Work Methods: Mastery of agile approaches to organize work in short sprints, encourage continuous feedback, quickly adapt priorities, and maintain positive dynamics focused on value creation. Multilingual Communication: Mastery of French, English, Italian, and Chinese, facilitating exchanges within international communities and enabling bridges between different cultural and linguistic ecosystems."
paul
Motivations: "I see substantial potential in the RealT ecosystem and I am enthusiastic about the benefits that the DAO can bring to its members. Joining the committee is an opportunity to contribute to shaping PowerVoting rules, foster engagement, and align incentives to strengthen the ecosystem. I hope this is the first of many committee engagements where I can advocate for the ecosystem's growth and success."
Vision: "I want to help the RealT DAO in its goal of revolutionizing tokenized real estate. Beyond basic discussions about standard weightings for held vs. locked vs. funds in liquidity pools, here are some suggestions/ideas I would like to bring to the committee discussion:
Vote weighting based on token lock duration: Locked tokens (potentially staked) for longer periods receive increased voting power to encourage long-term engagement.
Time-weighted voting: Similar to the previous point, weighting voting power based on holding duration - several mechanisms could be used to achieve this without allowing manipulation of the snapshot system.
Reputation-based voting: Potential for a simple reputation/karma system where contributions to the DAO could potentially increase voting power.
Whale anti-manipulation mechanisms: Explore potential mechanisms to limit the voting power that an individual or group can hold to ensure fair and decentralized decision-making."
Competencies: "With many years of involvement in the RealT ecosystem, I bring a deep understanding of its objectives and dynamics, coupled with a strong commitment to its success. My 20 years of experience in software architecture, specializing in networks and distributed systems across multiple sectors, have honed my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, my senior management experience allows me to navigate complex decision-making, collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, and bring strategic perspectives to the committee's work. I am confident these skills will allow me to bring significant value to RealT DAO initiatives."
PhilP
Motivations: "I propose to contribute to the creation of the DAO, in continuation of my investment in the RealT project. Beyond simple investment in RealToken, I help through my tutorials in the appropriation of this domain, for people who would like to understand more details without spending too much time. I have set up the community wiki (https://community-realt.gitbook.io/tuto-community) and maintain it regularly. I participate in testing new versions of applications implemented by RealT (RMM, YAM, Bridge, RealToken Wallet,..). In continuation of these actions, I naturally contributed to the launch of the DAO (construction, testing and documentation of corresponding tools) and think I can help for this committee."
Vision: "The DAO is an organization that presents many advantages (open construction, community-based, transparent, ..), but also many challenges (appropriation, decision complexity, number of participants, security..). I find it exciting to participate in the birth of such an approach, whose success will depend on the goodwill and understanding of each person. Looking forward to working alongside those who share this vision."
Competencies: "Blockchain and Realt and Realtoken Ecosystem (cf tutorial). App testing environment. DAO (Tally, Forum, Incentive). Testing and error detection in the first snapshots."
Yohann76
Motivations: "I wish to participate in the committee to reflect on and begin decentralizing the DAO. It is important to me that different actors play a role in the DAO. Voting power is crucial, and it is important to follow, participate and bring ideas that align with the DAO's direction according to the periods. Having been in the ecosystem for 2 years, I strongly wish for this DAO to function effectively to accomplish great things. Participating in the first committee is therefore a first step towards decentralization."
Vision: "My long-term vision for the RealToken DAO is to make our platform the central exchange hub for tokenized assets, particularly those from the real world. I firmly believe that we must attract all actors involved in asset tokenization, thus creating a dynamic and complete ecosystem.
To achieve this, it is essential to generate significant transaction volume, which will allow us to capture substantial value for the DAO. This captured value will be used to integrate more actors into our ecosystem, create and maintain numerous applications, and advance the decentralization of real estate assets as well as other types of assets.
A successful DAO is characterized by broad community participation, a high degree of decentralization, and significant value creation on our protocol. By reinvesting this value, we can stimulate continuous innovation and expansion of our ecosystem.
My goal is to position the RealToken DAO as an essential protocol, recognized in both the crypto world and traditional finance. By combining technological innovation, decentralization, and large-scale value creation, we can transform the tokenized assets landscape."
Competencies: "My main competency brought to the committee is above all my understanding of the ecosystem and the impact of voting power on the future of the DAO. I enjoy debating and finding solutions to complex problems. I also have some basic computer programming skills."
Eric
Motivations: "Being a candidate for the committee means being at the very beginning of a great adventure and also no longer being a spectator but becoming an actor in this DAO by bringing up the community's needs."
Vision: "My vision for the DAO is simple, that it be open to as many people as possible and accessible, it's not every day that we have the opportunity to participate closely in a company's choices. For me, in the long term, the DAO must be able to welcome a maximum of services and continue to develop what exists."
Competencies: "I would like to bring to the committee and the community my imaginative capabilities in finding solutions."
Battistu
Motivations: "As a RealT user for 1.5 years, passionate about DeFi and technology, I am enthusiastic about joining the Voting Power Committee. My motivation stems from a strong interest in these three previous domains, combined with a desire to actively contribute to the DAO and help shape its governance mechanisms. I see this as an opportunity to participate in meaningful discussions, bring ideas to the table, and explore innovative ways to align incentives between token holders and the DAO's long-term objectives.
Beyond contributing to the community, I am motivated by a personal desire to challenge myself, improve my understanding of decentralized governance, and discover the unknown. This committee offers the perfect environment to learn, collaborate, and grow alongside other engaged DAO members. I believe that collective effort and transparency are essential for building robust frameworks that strengthen the ecosystem, and I am eager to contribute with my energy.
Being born in Corsica, I've always had some issues with centralization! French humor 😉"
Vision: "The DAO must aim beyond borders to maximize its growth. Although the current community has a strong French-speaking base, the blockchain ecosystem is global by nature, and the DAO needs other non-French-speaking contributors. Attracting diverse contributors will bring valuable feedback and spread the DAO across the world.
Regarding RWAs, the DAO must remain interoperable. Just as AAVE integrates tokens from various DAOs, the RealToken DAO should position itself as an open hub—capable of including RWAs from other ecosystems.
Reental is already deploying RMM equivalents on Polygon (also from AAVE). The RealToken DAO has the opportunity to innovate. By building its own liquidity mechanisms and governance tools, and integrating any other tokenization platform."
Competencies: "➡️ Background
From Validation → Tech PM. This has given me a clear understanding of project scope respect, conflict mitigation (particularly RealT vs DAO), and quality assurance for the end user.
➡️ Web3 Constraints
My early experience in automotive calculators taught me the importance of delivering systems that work from day one—once cars are in customers' hands, updates are almost impossible. The same principle applies to DAO governance: decisions and algorithms must be carefully tested and validated as their effects are lasting.
➡️ Mathematics
Classic French engineering school: algebra and probabilities
➡️ Collaborative & Curious
I understand the key concepts of V2 such as Citizen, Activity and Collector NFTs and their role in governance. That said, I remain curious about the NFT marketplace: Why trade them? What purpose does it serve for the DAO? I see value in questioning and learning as part of the committee's work."
DRKTT
Motivations: "To put it simply, I wish to advance the DAO through a clear, fair, and scalable voting power algorithm.
Voting power is the result of a calculation involving several components, each of which has an important role to play.
It's not simply about playing apprentice sorcerer to obtain a result that seems correct to us, but mainly about measuring the impact this result can have on the entire community and on the RealToken ecosystem, whether in the short, medium, or long term.
This work must therefore be carried out, as a team, with all the necessary seriousness, and my analytical capabilities as well as my creative spirit should be beneficial for the ecosystem."
Vision: "My vision for the RealToken DAO is based on participatory, transparent governance focused on adding value for all community members. I see the DAO as an ecosystem capable of supporting innovation in real estate tokenization while allowing each token holder to actively contribute to strategic decisions. In my view, one of RealToken's great strengths lies in its ability to combine democratic processes with reliable blockchain technology to ensure fairness and project sustainability.
To strengthen this approach, I want to encourage the implementation of simple and intuitive governance tools that facilitate everyone's involvement, regardless of their technical knowledge level. This objective involves creating clear dashboards, regularly publishing performance reports, and developing voting algorithms adapted to market reality. This would not only strengthen the legitimacy of decisions made by the DAO but also develop a sense of trust and cohesion within the community.
Furthermore, I firmly believe that developing innovative applications and scripts can help improve DAO processes by automating certain repetitive tasks or providing personalized statistics. Eventually, these initiatives would help shape a proactive DAO, capable of quickly adapting to challenges in the decentralized finance sector and fractional real estate, while remaining true to its principles of transparency and openness.
Finally, the arrival of planned Citizen, Activity, and Collector NFTs is likely to change the game on multiple levels. It's a safe bet that this fantastic journey won't be smooth sailing, and it will be imperative to be reactive if a storm breaks out (and at that moment, we must not confuse speed with haste)."
Competencies: "My main competency lies in my ability to analyze complex data (or large datasets) and develop tools to automate certain tasks or for statistical purposes.
I also have skills in web application development to implement committee proposals through simulations, for example.
I also appreciate teamwork, where I value dialogue and listening to find balanced solutions. My creative spirit drives me to design innovative approaches while respecting ethical constraints and community needs."
Stouban
Motivations: "I am running as a candidate to actively contribute to the development of a voting power calculation algorithm that is fair, transparent, and aligned with our community's values.
For me, blind trust is an illusion, and it is essential that each rule be discussed, auditable, and accepted by all. Solid governance is based on evidence and total transparency, thus ensuring collective buy-in and the sustainability of our actions.
I commit to working closely with committee members and the community, listening to suggestions and ensuring our decisions serve the collective interest."
Vision: "Realtokens allow modeling of real-world financial securities (in token form). This passage from the real world to a blockchain is accomplished by RealT Inc (somewhat like a 'stargate').
Once in the stars, a Realtoken becomes an object that can be manipulated by RealToken DAO services. It can be:
• Transferred to a planet: Ethereum, Gnosis Chain (=> the Bridge)
• Traded on a marketplace (=> the YAM)
• Deposited as collateral in a bank to borrow money (=> the RMM)
• ...
These various services are governed by the DAO through REG (a governance token), somewhat like a city hall, but where politicians don't exist yet (delegation).
REG has no power over the Realtoken, but only over its ecosystem (DAO services).
To have active citizens, we need to implement mechanics that encourage participation (voting) and prioritize collective interest over individual interest. And to know these mechanical ideas... you'll have to vote for me 😉"
Competencies: "• Blockchain expertise: Active participant in the ecosystem for nearly a decade, with notable involvement in The DAO.
• Data analysis: Ability to process complex information to propose pragmatic and adapted solutions.
• Teamwork: Significant experience in managing a software community of over one million users, including coordinating interactions, feedback, and continuous product improvement.
• Leadership and management: Business owner with practical management experience, having also been a volunteer building manager for over 5 years to restructure a co-ownership's finances.
I am convinced that my diverse experience, passion for decentralized governance, and ability to develop pragmatic and effective solutions will be valuable assets for this committee."
Teugos
Motivations: "The main motivation is to help create RealT's DAO and support the development of a state-of-the-art ecosystem that will fundamentally reshape the real estate investment landscape. Learning how to build and optimize a DAO is one of my primary interests, as I am deeply inspired by the promise of decentralized governance to offer an open, inclusive, and efficient framework for property ownership. By sitting on this committee, I aim to actively influence strategic decisions, foster community engagement, and drive innovation on the RealT platform. Additionally, I am eager to improve governance processes and explore ways for DAOs to reach a broader audience while ensuring everyone's interests are represented.
I am genuinely excited to contribute to this project, as I view RealT as a blockchain pioneer in real estate investing.
P.S.: To be completely transparent, there will be times when I'll be less available, but I believe that's the case for everyone balancing professional ambitions with family life."
Vision: "Creating a secure, inclusive, and innovative ecosystem that rewrites the real estate investment narrative through the use of blockchain and decentralized governance is my goal. RealToken sees itself, in my view as a longtime DeFi supporter, as a pioneer in democratizing access to property ownership and allows anyone, anywhere, to participate in the real estate market.
At the heart of this vision is the DAO, driven by transparency and cooperation, and community-based decision-making aimed at responsible growth. I have seen how decentralization through my work in DeFi protocols has changed the entire course of things, and I would like to capture that change within the RealToken DAO. Through AI optimization, permissionless expansion pools, and alliances between relevant entities, RealToken has equipped its operationalization in a way that confers strength to members and maximization to the treasury.
The expansion will not be limited to a governing organization - it will transform into an innovative think tank, a technology integration platform, and a resilient and user-friendly ecosystem. My aim is to work on improving governance structures to extend participation, connecting DAO initiatives to local communities' long-term interests. Together, we will make RealToken a world leader in decentralized real estate."
Competencies: "DeFi Experience & Knowledge: Strong experience, working for about 4 years across multiple protocols - I have successfully mastered the decibels that resonate brilliantly in the arena of risky decentralized finance, understood the complex concepts of liquidity pools, yield farming, staking mechanisms, and tokenomics. My hands-on experience extends to protocols, including Uniswap, Aave, and Curve, allowing me to understand the vagaries of the DeFi ecosystem and its governance structures. Being well-versed in blockchain technology, smart contract function, and on-chain analytics puts me in a position to effectively contribute to strategy and decision-making. My background allows me to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and propose responses finely coordinated with RealT DAO's objectives and community realities."
